What is Awareness Through Movement?
I will be guiding you in simple, prescriptive and unique movement explorations intended to bring awareness to parts of yourself that are currently not included in your self-image.  Thereby integrating the whole body and self in new patterns.  These are everyday movements slowed down and made very small; similar to the way infants explore movements to learn their unique path to self-awareness.   It’s meditative yet vitalizing. It’s a ‘coming home to yourself’ and an astonishing process for pain relief and recovery from injury & trauma.
What Can I Expect in Class?
Effortless Movement, pleasurable movement, movement that aligns and centers, movement that inspires curiosity, movement that grounds you, movement that improves flexibility, movement that strengthens and empowers you, movement to evoke the child in you, movement out of time, movement that awakens, and movement that inspires a deep inner calm that results in an effortless release from limitation.  Pain Relief.   You’ll experience all of this during a 1 hour awareness through movement class.

Please bring a blanket-sized, and/or a cushioned movement mat and water.  I do supply mats, but you may want more padding or have your own personal mat for your comfort.

Masks are optional in my home studio.
I use gentle touch to assist students, I don’t wear gloves and am not masked during class time.
The movement space is well-cleaned and ventilated.
I  appreciate that you wash your hands thoroughly upon entering the movement space and before class begins.
