Living in today’s world requires an enormous “ask” of our nervous systems. Over-simulation, trauma, generalized stress, uncertainty, and material distractions have taken their toll. Learn effective brain and movement solutions to overcome these challenges. Building a healthy foundation is the key to life-long resilience. Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement Classes are a scientifically proven method for building this foundation.
We invite you to participate in a series of 10 weekly movement-based classes that will help you:
- Manage pain by improving self awareness, and without the use of drugs
- Free your body from excess effort
- Tone your limbic system
- Diminish the charge of the fight, flight and freeze response and
- Move from fear to pain-free action and creative self-use
- Recover dynamic balance in your life
Feldenkrais lessons refine how the brain directs our nervous system responses. Novel, brain based movement explorations will help you refine your muscular function. With all of our muscles working in harmony, the unfolding movement is supple, safe, and successful. Each class sequentially, and progressively provides integrated sensory information to wire new brain pathways. A healthier nervous system relies on the synthesis of dynamic effort with self- awareness, activating internal resources for problem solving.
